The Art of Photography is all about perspective. The technical part of photography, such as lighting, f/stop, shutter speed and lenses, can be taught. However, the perspective of the photographer is strictly subjective. The challenge of the photographer is to combine these technical aspects of the craft with intention.

My first landscape photo "Creation" was inspired by Psalm 19:1. "The Heavens declare the glory of God; the skies display his marvelous craftsmanship." The seasons of the New England year are like a diamond in the rough. The spectacular colors of Fall, the pristine beauty after the first snowfall and as the Spring awakens the flowers into Summer. In all aspects of my photography the goal is to capture the essence of His creation, whether it is in a landscape or the eyes of a child. To be mindful and thankful of the gifts that God has given to us.

History

In 1989, I enrolled in a correspondence course with the New York Institute of Photography (N.Y.I.P.). Upon completion of that course portrait and wedding photography became my passion. In 1994, I became a member of the Professional Photographers Association of New England (PPANE).

Since 2003 I have exhibited my work throughout the South Shore of Massachusetts.
